Pierres et Terres de France, a specialist in carved stone, is located in the small village of Cellule, in the department of Puy-de-Dôme of the French region Auvergne.  The company, founded in 1989 by Joëlle and Patrick Calvet,  is entirely dedicated to the design, hand-carving and reproduction of fountains, statues, urns, mantles and other fine decoration items. The Calvets draw on their love and passion of both French art heritage and limestone work.  For them, "carving history" is about using the original techniques and the specific know-how of past centuries’ master carvers. But it also includes adapting to modern day constraints, while still offering a wide range of genuinely authentic finishes, always aging the products according to the era of the design.
